About CAHEC
Creating A Healthy Community (CAHEC) Program, Incorporated is a private, non-profit 501c 3 community based organization, founded in 2003. CAHEC is licensed by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) to provide Community Change, Alternatives, Information and Training: (CAIT), Early Intervention, Case Management, Integrated Treatment, and Peer Recovery Support Services.

Provides services to children, youth, adults and families living in at-risk environments in Wayne County, Michigan.

Staff and board of directors are committed to sharing evidence based information to communities while servicing the needs of the entire family as defined by the persons served.

Primary focus is providing behavoral health prevention, early intervention, treatment and recovery support services to children, youth, adults and families

Services are provided by licensed social workers, certified prevention specialists, certifed addiction counselors, certified peer support specialists and recovery coaches.
